WHAT RT SAYS

DEVIL MAY CLARE by Sue Charnley

This madcap romance starts when Jack Hunters best friend and business partner, Adam Talcott, asks him to stand in as Clare Blessings fianci. Clare is pregnant and her babys father has died; she desperately needs a man to introduce to her grandmother. Since her grandmother helped finance their business, what else can Jack do but agree to the favor?

The more time Jack and Clare spend together, the more attracted they become. What they dont know is that Grannie has her hand in stirring up loads of trouble!

A spin-off of The Catnapped Lover, DEVIL MAY CLARE offers scorching attraction and plenty of humor.

DEVIL MAY CLARE by Sue Charnley

Jack Hunter and Adam Talcott from THE CATNAPPED LOVER return for another dare -- this time Jack Hunter is battling to become CEO.  Adam dares Jack to pose as Clare Blessings' (AKA "Devil May Clare") fiancé for ten days.  Jack wants to win this bet, but he knows all about Clare's reputation as being a dangerous daredevil.  Hesitantly, Jack accepts and travels to the Bahamas for their "engagement" bash.

Clare Blessings secretly knows her grandmother is dying.  As Clare is pregnant and unattached, she needs a "fiancé" to earn her grandmother's approval.  Once she meets Jack, sparks fly.  However this is only a fake engagement, no promises, no happily ever after, right?

Set in the gorgeous Bahamas, I cannot imagine a more wonderful location to celebrate the start of a budding relationship.  Plenty of humor, passion and lively dialogue create a fun, quick paced romance that will leave the reader with a smile on their face.

The passion between Clare and Jack slowly merges from smoldering ashes to a full blaze.  They make an intriguing couple, and this reader hopes they will return with Adam and Rue for another glance into their lives.
