In the Grand Tetons this May (2008), my first critter action shot captured this ground squirrel (l) in mid-scratch. I don't count the marmot (r) as an action shot. He came out onto the trail and posed for us. | ||||||

Then there were the moose. We were very lucky to see several of these shy creatures. A baby moose (near left) snacks on greening plants while Momma Moose (far left) watches from shelter of taller vegetation. | ||||||
